Netcom's Solid State Drive is a 2.5" SATA II SSD equipped with 64MB of built-in DRAM cache. It far outperforms standard 2.5" hard drives, delivering extraordinary sustained transfer speeds of up to 245MB/s read and 180MB/s write to guarantee blazing fast throughput, regardless of file size or type. With these extremely fast transfers and virtually non-existent (around one millisecond) latency, a computer equipped with a Netcom SSD25D is more responsive, boots-up faster, and launches software applications in a fraction of the time required with a standard hard drive.
